Indications for use
Trimetin is used in calves, foals, lambs, and dogs weighing over 7 kg to treat infections of the urinary and reproductive systems, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract, as well as salmonellosis, colibacillosis, and other bacterial diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to sulfamethoxazole.
Application procedure
The product is administered individually or to groups of calves, foals, lambs, pigs, cats, and dogs, either mixed with feed or individually as a suspension, prepared by dissolving the powder in a small amount of water or milk. It is given twice daily at a dosage of 250 mg per 1 kg of body weight. Treatment continues until the disappearance of clinical symptoms and for an additional two days, but not exceeding 10 days in total. Throughout therapy, animals must have free access to drinking water.
