Indications for use
Used in calves and pigs for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to paromomycin.
Application procedure
The drug is administered to pigs with drinking water and to calves with milk or milk replacer once a day for 3–5 days in the following doses:
- Pigs: 25–40 mg of paromomycin sulfate per kg of animal body weight per day (250–400 mg of the drug per kg of animal body weight).
- Calves: 25–50 mg of paromomycin sulfate per kg of animal body weight per day (250–500 mg of the drug per kg of animal body weight).
Before use, a single dose of the drug should be dissolved in water, milk, or milk replacer (MR), adding the liquid to the powder.
