Indications for use
Ferrolong is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anemia in young pigs, as well as during periods associated with increased iron demand (periods of active growth, rehabilitation after blood parasite diseases, helminthiasis, pregnancy, lactation, etc.).
Application procedure
The product is administered once by deep intramuscular injection into the upper third of the thigh or neck.
- In the winter period, before use, the vial with the product should be warmed in a water bath to 36–38 °C.
- The product is used for piglets on days 2–4 of life at a dose of 1.0 ml, and for pigs and pregnant sows 15–20 days before farrowing at a dose of 4.0 ml per head.
