Indications for use
Ceftiofur is a third-generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic with a broad spectrum of activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases, interdigital necrobacillosis, acute postpartum endometritis, mastitis, and other primary and secondary bacterial infections sensitive to ceftiofur.
Application procedure
The drug is administered to animals once a day in the following doses: • Cattle, small ruminants: Subcutaneously or intramuscularly 1 ml per 100 kg of animal weight for 3 days. • Pigs: Intramuscularly 1 ml per 32 kg of animal weight for 3 days.
