Indications for use
Butastim is prescribed for large and small cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, fur animals, and poultry for metabolic disorders of various etiologies, as well as a stimulating and tonic agent:
- To increase the body's resistance to diseases of various etiologies
- As an additional remedy for diseases caused by calcium and magnesium deficiency
- To activate labor and prevent postpartum complications (uterine tetany, postpartum paresis)
- During heavy physical exertion
Application procedure
Butastim is administered to large and small cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, and fur animals once daily intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intravenously (slowly), and to poultry - orally with drinking water for 4-5 days in the following doses:
- Adult horses and cattle: 10.0 – 25.0 ml
- Foals, calves: 5.0 – 12.0 ml
- Adult sheep and goats: 2.5 – 8.0 ml
- Lambs, kids: 1.5 – 2.5 ml
- Adult pigs: 2.5 – 10.0 ml
- Suckling piglets, weaners: 1.0 – 2.5 ml
- Dogs: 0.5 – 5 ml
- Cats, fur animals: 0.5 – 2.5 ml
- Laying hens, broilers: 2.0 – 3.0 ml per 1 liter of drinking water
- Chicks, replacement young stock: 1.0 – 1.5 ml per 1 liter of drinking water
For chronic conditions - half the dose (½ ) of Butastim is prescribed.
